Prayer Requests

It is our joy and duty to lift one another up in prayer. If you have a prayer request that you would like to keep confidential (Clergy, administrator, and small designated prayer team), please fill out our Confidential Prayer Request Form. If there is a prayer request which we can share with our Ascension Neighborhood Communities, please fill out our General Prayer Request Form.

Daily Prayer

Between Sundays we encourage our community to participate in a rhythm of daily worship. As Anglicans, we stand in a long tradition that promotes daily interaction with God through prayer. This rhythm of reading Scripture and praying are some of God’s primary means for working within us. It is here that we are ‘filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him’ (Colossians 1:9-10).

Resources for daily prayer

  • The Anglican Church in North America has developed new texts for common prayer which can be found here.
  • The Trinity Mission is a helpful resource for praying the Anglican daily office with audio readings of both morning and evening prayer.
  • Pray as you go (while not strictly following the Anglican office) is a helpful resource to many as a tool for daily contemplative prayer
